He described surgeries as "heroic" and told us, "you don't want her to have a birthday surgery every year." This seemed unacceptable. We found an orthopedic surgeon named Dr. Dror Paley who had built a limb lengthening institute in Baltimore, MD. He is widely considered to be the best in the world in this particular field.
